Fees Structure

Tuition fee with respect to different categories given below (SC and ST candidates are required to pay one fourth of the amount mentioned below)

â€“Rs 4800/- per annum for OR

â€“Rs 7200/- per annum JCOs

â€“Rs 15,000/- per annum for Officers

â€“Rs 24000/- per annum for civilians

Note:

In addition to above, students are required to deposit pocket money expenditure and refundable security deposit. Details are available in the prospectus of the school.

Reservation of Vacancies :

(a) 70% for wards of JCOs/OR of Army , Navy and AF ( including Exservicemen) .

(b) 30% for wards of Officers of Army, Navy and AF (including retired Officers) and wards of civilians.

(c) 50 seats are reserved for wards of service personnel Killed in Action. Note: 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST in all categories.

NDA Results

44 cadets appeared for UPSC NDA written exam 134th Course. 21 cadets have cleared the written and 10 have cleared SSB.

RMS Run by ARMY

The schools are category ‘A’ establishment of the Army and are administrated by the Directorate General of Military Training at IHQ of MOD(Army). The Central Governing Council(CGC), headed by the Defence Secretary, Ministry of Defence is the apex body for these schools.

Eligibility RMS

(a) Age. Only boys between 10 to 11 years of age for Class VI of age as on 01 Jul othe academic year are eligible for admission. Six months relaxation in upper age limit is permissible for the wars of personnel killed in action.

Reservations:

HOW TO APPLY?

Applications Forms. Prospectus and Application forms can be obtained from any of the Rashtriya Military Schools by paying Rs 350/-( Rs 175/- in case of SC/ST , copy of the Caste certificate to be submitted). Applicants to forward self address envelope of size 31 cm x 25 cm affixed with Rs 60/- stamps for Prospectus and application form along with Demand Draft for the amount payable at respective Rashtriya Military School ( in favour of " Principal , Rashtriya Military School") ALL APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY ROUTED THROUGH RASHTRIYA MILITARY SCHOOLS.
