When should one start preparing the child for Competitive exams? In my view the child is ready to face the exam once it can read, write and understand simple language. To get an admission in RMS ( Rashtriya Military School) There are 5 in our country and any one of the 25 Sainik Schools. (The boy can take the exam at any state for gaining entry into the Sainik School to which the boy belongs (Domicile) RIMC any one can take (restriction one seat per state) The academy prepares the boys physically and mentally to cope up with the pressure given by the peers while preparing for the entrance examination. The sad part was none of our faculty members were informed by any one of these cadets, now officers about this, nor were we invited to join the Passing Out Parade.
