After having motivated a few hundred of students to join the forces, I have now been faced with a big question. Why is the result of SSB interview is in single digit ( well most of the time it is)???   Most of the engineering grads of Tamil Nadu are not found employable by all the three defence forces. The reason behind this I found was as follows:- 1. Inability on the part of the candidate to speak fluently in ENGLISH ( It is not his mother tongue) 2. Most of them only SEE newspaper and DO NOT READ Newspapers. 3.They lack the presentation skill. 4. Participation in  group discussion is a very minimal level. 5. Lack of adequate knowledge about the topic What should such candidates do? ON THE JOB TRAINING. What I am going to suggest may not appeal to the EGO of many of you, but the sad truth is that  is where you will / may fit in.
