What should you do when people start shouting during Group Discussion?


Group discussion is administered as a testing tool to judge the candidates

  • Ability to put across his point of view on the given subject.
  • Ability to convince the listeners to your view point
  • If you are wrong or if some one points out a mistake you must have the moral courage to accept it and correct it.
  • Should be good enough to lend ears to others point of view
  • Encourage those who have not contributed to the discussion.

  • What should you do when others talk and make is a fish-market.
  • most of the time as a GTO, I used to ask them to calm down as discuss so that I can hear them.
  • If they continue you to do so in spite of  warning. I tend to give a very low grading.
  • It is your chance of exhibition of   skill. ask them to relax and speak one by one so that others can hear. This has to be done by raising your voice a bit high
  • Once you control them it would be your day.
