The
Indian Air Force has recently organized for conducting a Recruitment Rally for
Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades and Group ‘Y’ (For Automobile Technician, Ground
Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police)) trades respectively at 14
Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force, Kakkanad, Kochi (Kerala). The applications
are invited in offline modes from all unmarried male Indian citizens belonging
to the designated districts of State of Kerala and Union Territories of Mahe

Requirements
of Eligibility:
The
candidates need to comply with the minimum educational eligibility as specified
for mentioned positions.
-Group
X: 10+2/ Intermediate/ any other equivalent exam passed with a minimum of 50%
marks in English as well as in aggregate or passed Diploma course in Engineering
of three years duration in either of the following: Mechanical/ Electrical/
Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation
Technology/Information Technology) from any recognized Polytechnic institutions
and obtained at least 50% marks in English at matriculation / intermediate
level in case of diploma.
-Group
Y: 10+2/ Intermediate or any other equivalent qualification passed from any
recognized central or state boards of India with a minimum of 50% marks
obtained in English as well as in aggregate or two years of vocational course
passed with at least 50% of marks obtained in English at matriculation/
intermediate level from any recognized state or central boards of India.
AGE:
The
age of all the eligible and qualifying candidates should be not exceeding 21
years as on the last date mentioned or they should be born at any date between
1st August 1995 and 30th November 1988 (both dates
inclusive) as specified in the notification.
Criteria
of Selection:
The
final selections in the concerned recruitment shall be done based on the
following exams conducted –Written Exam, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview
and Medical Examination respectively.

Procedure:
The
candidates who wish to apply in the mentioned posts of Indian Air Force should
attend the recruitment rally on specified dates and fill registration forms in
the prescribed formats on a plain paper of A4 size at the venue of rally
itself.
