1. You are requested to contact the school during third / fourth week of
October 2014 for ascertaining the details of Entrance examination to be
conducted during January 2015. Admission is given for VI class and IX class
only. The eligibility conditions will be as under: -
(a) VI class - Boys born between 02 July 2004 and 01 July 2005
(both days inclusive)
(b) IX class - Boys born between 02 July 2001 and 01 July 2002
(both days inclusive)
For the admission in class IX the boy should be studying in
class VIII in recognized school.
2. It may please be noted that relaxation in age limit is not permissible under
any circumstances. GIRLS ARE NOT ADMITTED IN THIS SCHOOL.
3. No amount is to be sent in advance for prospectus and application form, as
the same is not accepted. The amount of prospectus and application form can be
sent through Bank demand draft of any nationalized bank in favour of ‘The
Principal, Sainik School Satara’ only after the releasing the school
advertisement (during October 2014) for entrance examination in the
newspaper. Money orders are not accepted.
4. While applying for issue of school prospectus, prescribed application form
and sample question papers, please intimate name of candidate, date of birth,
class in which studying, medium of his examination and mention category viz
Defence/SC/ST/General as applicable. It is necessary to attach xerox copy of
caste certificate for SC/ST candidates.
