Our Candidate ( House Captain Sri hari of Sainik School Bijapur) suggests the following steps to be taken for ensuring success at the
National Defence Academy

Hi friends,

First time is the Best Time for everything

Well let me share my views on How to Prepare for the

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY- PUNE  

Approximately 1 lakh candidates take this exam  once in every six months

The number of seats is about 475 per every term

If your aim is to join the defence forces
you should start your preparation early.

I would say  Class X
is the time you should plan

During your class XI take up Science Stream 
Collect the previous 10 years NDA question papers
subscribe to GK magazine and a daily news paper

Every day just 1 hour preparation is  sufficient in the starting stage
Take up a mock exam while you are in 11th class
your first attempt would be during the month of Aug/ Sep ( while still studying in  class XII)

You should apply for NDA - II Entrance Exam in the month of May 
to appear for Sep exam.
Actual Entrance would be Next year July

So the preparation starts Two years in advance

The Question paper has Negative marking.
So accuracy and speed is important

Nothing more than daily practice is required
Maths is a result of regular preparation

for English develop a habit of  reading a book / novel
take prac tests

GK
well this requires a lot of study
that is why I said two years of preparing 
Daily reading of News paper will be sufficient to keep you informed about CA
other subjects such as
History, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Civics
you have to read and be through with basics

preparation 
will take you to the door steps of
NDA

Do not forget to pay a visit to NDA and see for yourself what a LIFE you would be leading

I cannot write , YOU have to experience it
