What is the real problem faced at Sainik School?

What is the real problem faced at Sainik School? Why are the Cadets from Sainik Schools are not up to the mark? Who is to be blamed The parent? The Teacher ? The Student? ( Well I am also from Sainik School) Hence, I can easily see through this problem. Parents? NO- No- and 2 % Yes Teachers?? 95 % NO- 5 % yes Students . YES, YES and 5 % No. Why so? Parents have put in their best and left the rest to teachers and the adm officers. 98 % They are not responsible Here is a hard truth. 2 % why? The school authorities have told please do not give cell phone to students. Does the parents Obey this???? NOT all a class XI student was given a costly cell phone, ( while the parent did not remit the school fee). Is he RIGHT ???? The students have a Telephone in every DORM, where they can contact their Parents. Why do they need a cell Phone? The Bitter Truth , the students use the hi tech Cell phone to browse all wrong and prohibited sites I would say this is t

Under Standing of mathematics- basics

While Teaching  some boys did  not follow the concept - Defects noticed When asked The kids should understand the reasoning and logic to solve arithmetic problems I asked the child the following question. The cost of 1 mango is Rupees 5, what would be the cost of 10 mangoes = 5 Multiplied by 10 = Rs. 50 The cost of 10 mangoes is Rs. 50, what would be the cost of 1 mango = 50/ 10 = Rs. 5 If you give the shopkeeper Rs. 20, and purchased 3 mangoes that what is balance amount you would get back? 3 x 5 = 15, 20 – 15 = Rs. 5. Cost of 1 mango is Rs. 5, and cost of one apple is Rs.15, what would be the cost of both Now add 5 + 15 = Rs. 20 This when explained a kid did not understand. So the next step to make the child understand this was to Show the mangoes, apple and Rupees. It was given a note book and a pencil. Now asked to calculate This using Rs. 5 coins for each transaction. On this experiment the kid under stood this concept. Hence it he was asked to do

If You are an Engineering Graduate and want to join the Defence Forces- here are the ways to do it.

If You are an Engineering Graduate??? Want to Join the Defence Forces?? Here are the ways to do it. Hi friends! After having motivated a few hundred of students to join the forces, I have now been faced with a big question. Why is the result of SSB interview is in single digit ( well most of the time it is)???   Most of the engineering grads of Tamil Nadu are not found employable by all the three defence forces. The reason behind this I found was as follows:- 1. Inability on the part of the candidate to speak fluently in ENGLISH ( It is not his mother tongue) 2. Most of them only SEE newspaper and DO NOT READ Newspapers. 3.They lack the presentation skill. 4. Participation in  group discussion is a very minimal level. 5. Lack of adequate knowledge about the topic What should such candidates do? ON THE JOB TRAINING. What I am going to suggest may not appeal to the EGO of many of you, but the sad truth is that  is where you will / may fit in.
