IAF Bids Adieu to Mi - 8 Helicopter


On 17th Dec 2017, after 45 years of Service the Mi- 8 Helicopter was finally laid to rest at Air Force Station Yelahanka in  Bengaluru.
The helicopter was a Medium lift, attack hepter.
It had a crew consisting of
Pilot, Co-pilot
Flight Engineer
and a Flight gunner



There are numerous variants, including the Mi-8T, which, in addition to carrying 24 troops, is armed with rockets and anti-tank guided missiles
