There are Five ways of becoming a Pilot in Indian Air force
After 12th Standard:
A male student can become a pilot by joining National Defence Academy (PUNE)
Conditions : Must have taken Physics, Maths in class XII
Age Should be with in 16. 5 to 19.5 years as on the date of joining
NDA
Should have cleared UPSC Written and SSB + PABT + MEDICAL and Be in Merit list for IAF
AFTER Graduation:
NCC Spl Entry--- age less than 23 years Male and Female elligible
Should have passed Online test AFCAT
Cleared SSB, MEDICAL and be in merit list
No spectacles
CDSE: Applicable for male candidates only
Direct AFCAT : Applicable for both male and Female candidates
Age relaxation for Commercial pilot licence holders
Via air force service:

Service candidate, must be serving in airforce as an airman at the time of applying for this post)
Should have cleared SSB, Medical, and be in Merit list
