TARGET- SSB- TIPS  " What not to write in PPDT and TAT"

How not to write a story.
Please read this story written by an SSB aspirant and see the comments of the Psychologist to understand why it is wrong?

A young man standing near a river.

Rakesh was a young college boy of age 23.
A person who is 23 years old cannot be called a boy.
He and his friends went to Shimla for an outing. There while crossing a river he saw his friends already reached far and they did  not even noticed him.
Shimla is a big fairly big town, with no river. . The hero gets LOST (Negative approach)
Rather than leading and taking initiative he became an observer and did not even caution his friends while the distance increased. LACK OF SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY.

He was lost in the mid evening. He managed

The language used by a graduate?? MID EVENING ??  Near a river why should be set a fire and how is wild animals expected. Lack of  Knowledge of territory and highly imaginative story.
to take some wooden pieces and put fire. So as wont’ allow any animals near to him as in morning he came to know the eastern direction and he reached the road easily.

He should be knowing about the direction of the river, and also evening so that he can see the sun set and judge the direction.
Does students of today, do not carry a cell phone?   It is a poorly written story and lacks Initiative and logic.
