Personal Information Questionnaire, is something that gives a remaining picture of what you are & what you can do when you go for SSB.
Always be truthful as the person siting on the other side of the table is having an experience nearly of your age. You can fool yourself but not Him.
Filling the PIQ is easy but the actual part is how you fill & what you fill as later comes the part of answering the volley of shots asked to you by the IO.
  • Be calm & composed. Be alert.
  • Only a good listener can be a good speaker.
  • You would be asked several questions starting from (Ok, so Chest no. XY, we have your PIQ form, now since you are comfortable in seat, let’s talk about your family, your father’s profession,what does your mother do, tell us something about your brother & sister, since you are from Lucknow, so also share some talks about your city, throw some light on your academics as your form shows you were an average student but quiet good in extra co-curricular activities.) 
  • These all questions would be asked on 1 go without a pause & now it depends upon you how many you remember, how many you answer & in what manner you answer. Before submitting your PIQ,Just read & revise it.In the end I would like to summarise this whole topic & just say, it is said, “First impression is the last impression”, but here you can make impression with every step that comes your way. Service Selection Board is a life time experience, enjoy it. All do not get selected. Some become Sam Manekshaw, Field Marshal KM Kariappa, Capt. Vikram Batra, Capt. Manoj Pandey & the list is long while some become Dr. Kalam. Here is a copy of PIQ Form.
