The Sainik / RMS  Exams are not tough but are slightly different.

The Main Subjects are
a) Maths
b) English

d) GK ( For R MS)

First they check the Maths paper, only if the candidate passes in this paper the other subjects are corrected, if not they leave it.

b) Application Based Sums
c) Skill Based sums

the sainik / RIMC focuses more on Application / Skill

Eg:
Concept based:-
what is the Simple Interest  earned on an investment of Rs. 5000, invested at the rate of 5% SI per annum, the time invested is 5 years.

Application  based:-
P Rs. 5000, R= 7.5 %, Tiem 6 years

Skill based Sum:-
Calculate  tne amount that is payable by a bank to an investor, who invested Rs. 1.25 lakhs for aperiod of 73 days at the rate of 8.5 % SI.
