This is perhaps an wonderful opportunity given by the Defence forces for those who are deserving yet joining the forces in lower ranks.

Restriction of Service: Min two years as a solider/ Sailor/ Airmen / Naviks ( Your basic training is also included)

Age for getting commission via Army Cadet College is upto 27 years  

Entrance :
Stage I : apply through proper channel for Taking up a written test

Stage - II: SSB interview

Stage- III Medical

Stage - IV  Merit list

Most of the time the course is under subscribed.
Vacany is 100 per every term ( One term 6 months)
This is just like NDA. The only difference is that it is ment only for those persons who are presently serving in the ranks.

The Entrance Test has
a) Maths
b) English
c) GK
d) Reasoning

Multiple choice with Negative marking.

It is comparivetly easy to crack this exam unlike NDA.

Since the cadets get their pay and the service is counted. + they get a degree at the end of  the training of 3 years.
