Entrance Exam?
RIMC Entrance is one of the toughest exam for candidates between the age of 11.5 to 13 years.
What is expected ?
The candidate must be very high average to get short listed.
Maths - CBSE syllabus of Class VII, but some questions in section C ( about 5 questions are of high standard and of class standard VIII)
English: Comprehension, Grammar, Reading and writting skill is tested about 20 questions are expected.
General Awarness: It has Physics, Chemistry, Biology, GK, Current affairs
it has a mixture of Multiple choice as well as one word.
A regular update of the Daily current affairs is required to score 20 marks out of 75
Rest of the 55 marks are divided between the other subjects.
Preparation must begin while the child is in class VI
Personal experience is that it takes about two / three attempts to clear this exam.
Best would be while the child is studying in Class VII ( Dec exam is the best)
Prior attempt will give the child basic knowledge and what to study.
Encourage child to take competitive exams from class V onwards
