Steps To succeed at the SSB Interview


First of all it is better to know what the SSB selectors are looking for in a potential Candidate.

The Selectors belong to three groups:-

a) Psychologists
b) Group Testing officers
c) Interviewing officers

All these assessors are looking for just 15 Officer like qualities.
( Personally I believe that every one of has have these qualities)

The only difference is some of us are able to exhibit these qualities at the right time and at the right place ( SSB Interview)
   
They are not very different from other walks of life.

The only difference is that the defence selection board takes 5 days to find out if you have these qualities or otherwise.

In civil they do it just in one day. 

But why take 5 days to find out if you have it or not?

Well simply put, they do not want to Reject a candidate just like that.
In depth study of a candidate is required not by just one officer but by Three

You may be aware that IAS/ IPS do not have any Group tests.
Just a written and an interview by a panel members.

So this interview is slightly different.

The judges assess you  by four factors

Factor of Head
Factor of Heart
Factor of Guts 
Factor of Limbs

Not able to understand. 
No need, the experts will do a good job of this.
