Congrats Anand, we are glad to hear that you have qualified in all the three SSB Interview you faced. Is that right

No sir

I face 4 boards

1st board I was Not Recommended.

Why

I was not prepared for the SSB.

But they say there is no need to prepare for SSB, any one can make it just like that. is that not true

NO- NO - NO SIR    

Preparation is mandatory- I will not advice any one to appear for SSB with out preparation.

It does not  mean he should go to a SSB coaching centre, but he should know what he is.

About me:

I dropped a year before joining the B.Sc,

I am just an average student just 60 % in PCB ( Maths is my waterloo)

I flunked my NDA

I was not eligible for for 10 + 2 Tech entry

I am not from Sainik/ RMS/ RIMC

I am an NCC cadet.

well I did put in my heart and soul in it

I was lucky got selected for R D Parade

I was picked up by YEP

I was Very lucky I represented India and went to Singapore

I used to read a lot ( Novels)

I played Hockey Represented Tamil nadu selected as Junior Captain in Hockey

Well with all this I flunked the SSB

WHY ???

to tell you the truth

I was having a lot of head -weight.

I did not allow others to speak in the GD

I thought I had it in me

Well I got booted out of the SSB.

It was time for me to recoup

walked into defence academy coimbatore

The psych told me 

after initial tests.

That I was an "I" Specialist  

The GTO Told me to hold my tongue

The IO told me that I must widen  my knowledge in all the field.

15 days of doing my home work.

I am a Christian

the Instructor told me to go to a temple with a Hindu boy, and do a vise versa of taking him to

a Church.

I thought it was just for fun

He then asked me 10 odd questions about the temple its history, well I gave up.

He told me now you will visit yet another Temple.

This time I went with a note pad and learned a lot, ( my Hindu  friend now in the ARMY) did the same when we went to a Church.

Well some more.

we were told to go to a Grudhwara and a Mosque.

Get into the details.

when I asked the instructor, he told me  that A fauji will be celebrating all the festivals and he should know WHY and HOW.

Not to wish  A HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY

or A HAPPY MUHARAM.

I thanked him for teaching me all this

Now I am sitting behind the pilot in a Sukoi air craft.
