School Level:

a) Sainik School:- Entry at Class VI and IX- Trains boys to face the NDA

Written Exam once a year in Jan ( For Katara J&K it would be in April)

b) RMS ( Rashtriya Military School):  Entry at Class VI and IX- Trains boys to face the NDA
Written Exam once a year in December

c) RIMC ( Rashtriya Indian Military College- Dehradun)  Entry at Class VIII level - Trains boys for NDA .Written exam Twice a year in the month of JUN and December.  
  
During Class XII  NDA:


Written ExaminationTwice a year April and September
Course starts in :Jan and July every Year
Vacancies:300 army 75 IAF and 50 Navy (Maximum)
Announcement March and Oct Every year
Likely SSB Date:Sept to Oct and Jan to April
Training Academy Location:NDA- Khadakwasla- Pune Maharashtra
Duration of Training:3 Years at NDA and 1 year at IMA
Eligibility  Age:16 .5 years to 19.5 years
Eligibility  Qualification:Can be in class XII at the time of taking the exam
Eligibility  Subjects:Any Stream for ARMY, Phys and Maths for NAVY and IAF
