Group Discussion - What are they looking For??????? 


We keep hearing a lot about it
Be it an MNC interview
or 
Any Services Selection Board
Or even
an admission in a B school

Simply put is
to see your ability to talk sense in front of a ( Maddening) crowd.

Three Types: An observer; He is very good at Listening to Others- ( No comments Please for any ones statment)

The follower: The yes man- Agrees to every one who talks in ENGLISH  ( because he has a problem in understanding what was spoken - many tamilian candidates especially from tamil medium do this)
The know All; He is the master- Talks and talks and Talks- Hardly gives chance to others. He knows it all ( irrespective of what subject matter may be)

What is that we are looking for???

a) Ability to Communicate your ideas well in a sensible way
b) Knowledge on the subject
c) Listens to others ideas and encourages them to share
d) Moderator - some times 
e) Confident in the way he / she speaks
f) Depth of Knowledge- Ability to accept gracefully if he had made a mistake.

If you practice all these then you are the one we ( GTO/ Selector) is looking for
