How to Prepare For Personal Interview - Services Selection Board ?

Writing Your PIQ ( Personal Information Questionnaire)

 This is very very important part.
For, your interview would be based on this PIQ.

 Truth prevails, holds good for this.

 It generally consists of
a) Your family Back ground
b) Your educational achievements
c) Extra curricular activities
d) NCC
e) Job
f) Number of Attempts
g) Information about your place of residence

 How to prepare?

 Your family, edn, friends, residence, nothing much to prepare.
Your achievements,   tell about this during your interview.

 Be to the point, do not be verbose.
Think and answer, do not shoot off
If you do not know admit it
find out and be prepared to tell the same during your conference

 Do not keep telling much about your failures, and blame others for your failure
Tell him what actions you have taken and how you are going to over come your failures

 Listen to rapid fire questions and answer as far as possible in the same order.

 Practice writing this on a paper
Neat hand writing would be a Plus point.

 Know about Your self'
Your Surroundings
Your school/ college/ town/ country

 Learn about the service that your are about to join.
National and international news keep yourself updated.

 Communicative skill is important, improve it.
Body language- watch out.
