As for as Defence Forces are concerned, the fact is life is not as easy as it seems. Life sytle and working enviornment in peace area is perfectly alright The Officers are treated with respect much better than what we see in civil departments. As of now the Army is not giving commission for lady officers in the fighting arms. It is only in fighting arms the life is ( during  exercise  two to three months in a year)  slightly hard when compared to other arms and services. HISTORY AND INTRODUCTION The English raised the Territorial Army in 1920 through Indian Territorial Act of 1920 and  it was comprised of two wings namely - 'The Auxiliary Force' for Europeans & Anglo-Indians, and  'The Indian Territorial Force' for Indian Volunteers.
