If you want to become a pilot in Army – Then one has to become an officer and opt for flying –
This is a short cut. (NO need to qualify CDSE, AFCAT, Enter OTA via NCC “C” Certificate and become an Army Pilot
NAVY- Via, CDSE, INET. After becoming an officer in Executive branch one can become an Aviator
Coast Guard- No written test can just an interview and you make it in flying branch.
Those who have Commercial pilot license can apply without any written test only PSB and FSB
To become a civil pilot: one has to fly for 200 hours in any small aircraft and get a Commercial Pilot License. You can get trained in any flying club in India or abroad.
SC/ ST communities get Scholarship for pilot training.
