Age: The child must be between More than 10 years and Less than 12 years as on 31 March 2021.
Class must be studying in class V or VI
Procedure:
Apply for admission during the month of Oct to Dec ( Every year)
Date of Entrance Exam First Sunday of January ( there are about 7 Centres proposed for written Test)
Written Exam consists of
Multiple Choice Questions
in Mathematics
English
General Awareness( GK, Science)
Mental ability Test
Total Questions 125
Maths 50 x 3 marks = 150
English 25 x 2 = 50 Marks
GK 25 x 2= 50 Marks
Intelligence Test 25 x 2 = 50 marks
Total 300 marks
CUT off for the entrance Exam ( to be in Merit list for General Cat would be around 75% is 225 / 300
Time for the entrance exam would be 2 h and 30 min
ie 125 questions to be answered with in 150 mins
SPEED AND ACCURACY IS IMPORTANT
DURING THE YEAR 2020, Defence Academy Coimbatore achieved 100 % Success rate in Sainik School Entrance Examination.
We will be providing the children
Books and computer based entrance Model tests
Maths , english, gk and mental ability test chapters as per laid down syllabus would be tought to children.
Guidance would be given by Sainik School Educated Retd Army Officer.

Children will be admitted only after administering IQ Assessment test .
Medical Exam and an oral interview in our academy
The fee in Sainik school would be close to Rs. 1.15 lac per annum.
The children will be undergoing CBSE syllabus till 12th standard
They will be facing the National Defence Academy Entrance Exam during their 12th standard.
