1. Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Visakhapatnam from 07 November 2019 to 17 November 2019 at Govt Arts Degree & Junior College Ground, Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh) to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from fourteen districts of

Tamil Nadu State i.e. Perambalur, Ariyalur, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and one District of U.T Puducherry i.e Karaikal

in Soldier Nursing Assistant/ Soldier Nursing Assistant Veterinary, Soldier Clerk & Store Keeper Technical categories.

Candidates will have to apply online only,

from 06 Oct 2019 to 04 Nov 2019.

Admit cards will be issued online after 04 Nov 2019.

Candidates are requested to bring their admit card, application & documents mentioned in the admit card at the rally site.

Date and time of reporting at rally site will be mentioned on the admit card.

Print out of admit card can be taken after 04 Nov 2019

from www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates are advised to carry their Admit Card and documents in water proof transparent document sleeves / sheet protection to cater for guard against damage due to inclement weather.

2. Recruitment Programme: Date and time of screening of documents, Physical Fitness Test and Physical Measurement Test will be mentioned on the Admit Card.

3. Medical Exam of Candidates: Medical examination will be carried out with effect from 08 Nov 2019 onwards at the Rally Site. Notes:-

(a) Candidates who are below 18 years of age will have to bring their Parents Consent Certificate. Format of affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper is attached to this notification as paragraph 1(e) OF Appendix A.

(b) Sportsmen who have represented India at International level and State at National level within the last two years. For list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is admissible attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.

(c) Sportsmen who have represented district at State level and University team or regional Team at district level within 1st/2nd position within last two years. Sports certificates should be with registration number and from Government Recognised Sports Institutes / Bodies as under:-

(i) All Senior / Junior National - Respective National Federation. Championship Certificates

(ii) All States & District Level - Respective State Sports Certificate Association.

(iii) All University Level - Inter University Sports Board. Certificate

(iv) All School level - All India School Games Certificates Federation.

2 CANDIDATES WILL REPORT TO GOVT ARTS DEGREE & JUNIOR COLLEGE GROUND, SRIKAKULAM (ANDHRA PRADESH) AT 0030 HRS ON THE SCHEDULED

DATE AND TIME AS PER THE PROGRAMME GIVEN IN THEIR ADMIT CARD AND CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO REPORT WITH CLEAN SHAVEN FACE.

CANDIDATES TO BRING THEIR MARKS SHEET OF CLASS X AND XII WITH MARKS OBTAINED AND “NOT” GRADES. GRADE SYSTEM SSC CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. CANDIDATES, WHO ARE NOT IN POSSESSION OF MARKS SHEET, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RECRUITMENT RALLY.

Educational Qualification (a) Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (AMC)/ Nursing Assistant Veterinary (RVC) 165 50 77 cms with 5 cms expansion

10+2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.

(b) Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) 162 50 77 cms with 5 cms expansion 10 + 2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts /Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.

Note. Education Certificates issued by Education Boards Affiliated to / listed by AICTE, CBSE and NIOS only will be considered.

3 5. It is mandatory for the candidates who have passed class 10th with GPA / Grade system to carry their mark sheet showing marks in figure obtained from respective board. Candidates not carrying mark sheet showing marks in figures will be disqualified in documentation.

6. Age Group. Age of the candidate will be counted as on 01 October 2019. Age criteria for recruitment rally will be as under:- S No Category Age Criteria

(a) Soldier Clerk / Soldier Store Keeper Technical 17 years 06 months to 23 years. (

b) Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (AMC)/ Nursing Assistant Veterinary (RVC) 17 years 06 months to 23 years.

7. Other Conditions.

(a) The candidates should be medically fit to join Indian Army at the time of Rally.

(b) Tattoo/Engraving. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further selection.

(c) Apply for Only One Category. A candidate can only apply for one category/trade. (d) Sports / NCC / Relation Certificate.. S No Certificate No of Xerox copies Issuing Authority Address
