Difference between Sainik School and RIMC Entrance Exam Questions


Questions asked in Sainik / Military School and RIMC are almost same.
The only difference is it is slightly twisted in RIMCExample:1:- Sainik or Military school class VI Entrance Examination

The difference between two numbers is 215. If the value of the greater number is 827 then find the value of the smaller number.
Solution:  Value of the smaller number = value of the greater number - Difference between two numbers. = 827 - 213 = 612 answerRashtriya Military School question:-
The difference between two numbers is 215. If the value of the greater number is 827 and the value of the smaller number is such that it has 6 in its hundreds and the last digit is twice that of the middle digit find the number?
Solution:  Value of the smaller number = value of the greater number - Difference between two numbers. = 827 - 215 = 612 ( in this the digit in hundred place is 6 and the last number is 2 which is twice the middle digit
When a number is divided by 296, it gives a remainder 0f 75. If that number is divided by 37, then the remainder will be______________ 
Answer is 1
The same question is twisted in the RIMC Entrance Exam:
The difference between two numbers which is made of three digits is exactly divisible by 3.
If the value of the greater number is same as the greatest three digit number. the smaller number is 1/3 of the greater number. Find the numbers.
Solution:-
The greater number is the greatest three digit number is 999 the smaller number is 1/3 of the greater number and is exactly divisible by 3 is 999 divided by 3 = 333 this is the answer
