(b) If x=3, y =4, and z =5, find the value of [( x+y+z) x 5 ] / xyz

11. 6 men complete a piece of work in 4 days. In how many days will 2 men complete the same job?
12 (a)The cost of 5 tables is the same as the cost of 7 chairs. If the cost of one table is Rs.210 find the cost of two chairs
12 (b)  A grocer mixes 28 kg of rice costing Rs.150m per kg and 12 kg of another rice costing Rs.180 per kg.,  find the cost of mixer per kg?

13. Find the average of the first 7 odd numbers starting from 1.
14. The average weight of 9 boys in a class is 42 kg. Another boy joined the class and the new average was found to be 42.5 kg. Find the weight of the new boy?
15. (a) The average of 14, 17,29 , x, 0 is 36. Find the value of x
15. (b) the average age of 16 students is 15 years. Fi two more students of age 15 years each join the class then find the average age of 18 students.

16. Aditya had Rs.2500. He spent Rs.500 on books. Find his percent expenditure.
17. The population of a town has increased from 60,000 to 65,000. Find the increase percent.
18. (a) A book was priced Rs.150. The shopkeeper gave a discount ( Less) 8%. How much does a customer has to pay for the book?
18 (B) There are 800 students in a school 200 students went on a picnic. Hoe many percent of the students did not go for the picnic ?

19. A man bought a cycle for Rs.5500 and if he wishes to sell it at a gain of 10% what should be his selling price?
20.  Maya purchased a scooty for Rs.40,000. She paid Rs.150 for rad tax and Rs.100 as license fee. At what price must she sell it gain 20%?
21. (a)  By selling a  plot of land for Rs.17,220 Mathew gains 5%. For how much he should have sold the plot to gain 15%
21. (b) A merchant lost Rs.51 by selling 17 bags of rice for Rs.1,020. What was the cost price per bag?
