AFCAT Application Form 2018 – How to Apply for AFCAT 2 Exam 2018

AFCAT online application commences from 16th June 2018. Interested candidates can check the eligibility details and apply at the earliest. We are giving the step by step process to apply online for the AFCAT 2 exam. Follow the steps below:

(a) Registration Process:

  • Visit the official website of IAF
  • Now, Click on Candidates Login Button on the top for Registration.
  • Fill in the required details in the registration form.
  • Once the form is successfully submitted, a new Registration ID and Password will be generated and sent to the candidate’s email-id provided.

(b) How to fill Application Form :

  • Login to the AFCAT portal using Registration ID and Password
  • Fill all the details as per the given instructions
  • Select your branch, exam centre and subject of the exam
  • Candidates are required to upload their recent passport size photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
  • Verify all the details and submit the application form
  • Take a print out of the application form for future reference

Age Limit( As on 1st January 2019): The branch wise age limit is mentioned below:
  • Flying Branch: Age should be between 20 to 24 years i.e. born earlier than 2nd January 1995 and not later than 1st January 1999.
  • Ground Duty (Technical): Age should be between 20 to 26 years as on 1st January 2019 i.e. born earlier than 2nd January 1993 and not later than 1st January 1999.
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Age should be between 20 to 26 years as on 1st January 2019 i.e. born earlier than 2nd January 1993 and not later than 1st January 1999.
Marital Status : The marital status of the candidate should be unmarried at the course commencement. Age must be below 25 years.Widows/Widowers & divorcees , with or without encumbrances, below 25 years of age are also not eligible to apply.

AFCAT 2 2018 Notification: Visual Standards Test

IAF has set visual standards for all those applying for IAF jobs. There are certain restrictions on those who wear spectacles. Given below are restrictions and Visual Standards for various posts under Visual Standards
