Which school in better Military School or Sainik School?

Which school is better Military School Or Sainik School ?

The aim and the training imparted in both the schools are same.

The main factor lies in Number of vacancy, fees payable by parents.

Of late it has been observed that the Entry into NDA , percentage wise has improved in Military School visa viz Sainik Schools.

The Main reason being

a) Most of the kids joining Military schools are from military back ground ( ie. father/ mother are serving /served in defence forces) This is a motivation factor for the kids to join the school and later try for NDA./ Other Defence Institutes.

b) Fee structure in Military school is almost 25% of that being charged by Sainik Schools.

c) Over all perspective of students studying in sainik school is slightly different from that of Military Schools.

d) Entrance examination of both these schools are at par hence there is not much of a difference in the tests.


What should the Choice be?
I would rather say,
TRY and appear for both the school Entrance exam . Select Military School instead of Sainik School.
