Trekking to Siruvani Hills- What I learned ?


This is the place were we a group of 8 Persons visited during the last two days of the year 2017.

Planning :


I was given the job to plan and organise a short trekking programme for people of the age from 8 to 18 years. 


The input:


Srini you are required to org two days and one night trekking and camping  in any place of your choice with in 50 km from Coimbatore.


Resources: Use Cell phone, Facebook / Internet for advertisement.
I was given 15 days notice to undertake and execute this task.




Factor I
a) Effective Intelligence

Here I was judged for selecting suitable place.

Requirement:
a) A place to stay
b) Nearness to water source
c) Easy Transport
d) Nearness to human inhabitance
e) Equipement
f) Some Budget ( for tpt, food, accm, and misc expenses) 



b) Org ability

Check Place, distance, route, Permission from owner, tie up with tpt, train/ bus timing.

Resources in terms of Money had to be generated.


c) Planning ability

Challenges:
To get people to accept our offer
Pay Advance amount for the trip.
Time is short

Used facebook to create a page and forwarded to my friends
Since most of my friends are from Trichi and chennai, they would not be interested.
Local persons only would be coming for this trip.
Hence must advertise in Coimbatore area to attract takers.

May a page and published in Facebook and put the same in Blog

Result after one week (4 people called )

Only one joined. That too for Rs. 500 including, food,  


d) Power of Expression

The ad should be short and attractive.
