Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally 2017 – 65 Rifleman Posts: Office of the Directorate General, Assam Rifles, Shillong has published a notification for the recruitment of 65 Rifleman (General Duty) vacancies (under mentioned sports) under sports quota for the year 2017 in Assam Rifles. Eligible candidates (male & female) can apply in prescribed application format on or before 20-08-2017 & 04-09-2017 for flung areas. Name of the Post: Rifleman (General Duty) -Sports Quota
1. Archery (Both male and female)
2. Boxing (Both male and female)
3. Equestrian (Male)
4. Football (Both male and female)
5. Judo (Both male and female)
6. Karate-DO (Both male and female)
7. Taekwondo (Both male and female)
Age Limit:
** Applicants age limit should be minimum-18 years and maximum-23 years as on 01-06-2017.
Educational Qualification:
** Applicants should have Matriculation from a recognised Board, Players who have participated in any International Competition/ National Competition / Inter-University Tournaments / National Sports / Games for Schools / Physical Efficiency Drive. (Sports qualification).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on documentation, Physical Standard Test & Medical Examination.
Application Fee:
** Candidates required to pay Rs.100/- through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Recruitment Branch, HQ DGAR, Shillong-793010. No fee payment for SC/ ST & female candidates.
How to Apply:
** All eligible applicants can send their application in prescribed application format along with attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, Experience certificate (if applicable) and any other relevant documents & in an envelope should be superscribed as — “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT” in bold letters reach to Directorate General Assam Rifles (Recruitment Branch), Laitkor, Shillong, Meghalaya-793010 on or before 20-08-2017 & 04-09-2017 for flung areas.
