The Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy B.Tech Entry 2018 are given below

Candidate’s Age Limit:
Applicants who want to apply must be of 17 to 19 1/2 years old i.e born between July 02, 1997 & Jan 01, 2000.
Candidate’s Educational Qualification:
  • All the candidates must appear in JEE Main 2017 and get qualified.
  • Candidates must pass their Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognised university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50%
  • marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
Candidates’s Physical Standards:
  • The candidate should have a minimum height of 157 cms correlated to their weight as per their age
  • The eye sight should be 6/6 for distant vision and 6/9 correctable to 6/6. With glasses, it should be 6/6. The colour/night blind candidates will not be eligible to apply.
  • There should not be any permanent tattoo in the candidate’s body. However, there will be considerations for the tribal communities or areas as announced by Government of India.
  • Only permanent tattoos in the forearms, from the inside of elbow to wrist on the reverse side of palm/back side of hand will be considered.
  • No other relaxation will be available in Physical Standards.
Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Courses Offered
  • Candidates will be offered admission for the B.Tech 4 years under Cadet Entry Scheme
  • Candidates with be offered for B.Tech courses in Applied Electronics and Communication or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Candidates will also be allotted for Executive or Engineering.
  • The Degree in the final year will be given by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
