Some of the points to be borne in mind before you start writing your Thematic Apperception Test


  1. Observe the Picture Carefully
  2. Your are the Hero/ Heroine of the story you write
  3. Write 3 lines about the Past (What happened earlier)
  4. You must narrate a problem or an Aim which the Hero/ Heroine faces.
  5. The Problem should not be too small are so big that it cannot be solved. ie. Do not bring in multiple problems
  6. The Main character should not become a victim nor make his close relative a victim
  7. Do not go in for Monetary Gain or awards or rewards
  8. Do not make a positive picture into a negative one
  9. Always end the story in a positive mode
  10. Bring in the qualities of the main character via his actions
