AFCAT Exams -Syllabus

Total Marks - 300 marks


No Of Questions - 100 -Time 2 hours


Note: There is a penalty for wrong answers in AFCAT exams every wrong answer 1(one) mark is deducted




AFCAT exams consists of multiple choice questions asked on various topics like -


1. English:

English paper which will be checking your verbal ability. This section will have questions around 15-20 Questions. If you are good in vocabulary can easily solve questions.

English Paper consists of :-


- English Passage

- Synonyms

- Antonyms

- Complete Passage using articles

- Find the error

2. Numerical Ability:


Maths paper will be time consuming section for you if you are not aware if formulas and not practice for this section. This section will have 15-20 questions.

GA section is generally tricky as it consists questions covering various topics such as History, Geography, Politics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Current affairs. For this section you can refer to 8th to 10th class books. This section will have 10-15 questions.

  • Current Affairs (National and International Importance)
  • Sports 
  • Currencies
  • Books and Authors
  • Awards and Honours
  • Science - Inventions and Discoveries Abbreviations
  • Important Days
  • International and National Organisations
  • New Appointments


4. Reasoning:


Reasoning paper will be to check you in challenging situations. This paper consists of some tricky questions which will make you to think around your mind. This section will have 15-20 questions.

5. Military Aptitude:


Military aptitude section is also same as reasoning questions. This sections will generally focus on your speed, accuracy etc. Many figures toes questions will be asked. This section consists of 20-25 questions.
