Tips for Command Task GTO by Defence Academy Coimbatore

Tips:
  • Listen to the briefing given by GTO before calling your helpers
  • Understand the task-  ie. observe and formulate a plan A and B in your mind.
  • As the sub-ordinates reach your location
  • Brief them and explain your idea
  • Instruct each member as to what his task is
  • Now help them in executing the task.
  • If there is unnecessary delay / lack of understanding do not hesitate to take on the lead and complete the task.
  • After completing the task place the material in an orderly fashion and report to GTO 
  • Thereafter, thank your subordinate
  • Be polite and explain carefully and check back if they have understood your idea.
