ssb coaching academy The eye sight requirement for the post of officer in Indian army is mentioned below: > Uncorrected without glass – 6/12 > Corrected with glass – 6/6 > Limits of Myopia – 3.5 > Limits of Hypermetropia – +2.5 > Binocular vision III > Limits of Colour Perception I "People in the armed forces are often working in dusty, dirty conditions with no running water or facilities for hygiene. Military equipment like nuclear, biological, & chemical protection suits and night vision goggles are often not compatible with glasses or contact lenses so soldiers are often fighting uncorrected,"  Army- max. 2.5D for both eyes Navy- max. 0.75D for both eyes Air Force- max. 0.75 without myopia for both eyes.
