Trend Analysis
Mathematics:  All questions need thorough computational skill to be answered.  Arithmetic Forms the bulk of questions and sometime complex calculations are required to arrive at an answer, though most of the time simple calculations are enough to get the answer. The paper is split as follows:  40% of the questions are from Arithmetic, 20 % are from Algebra, 25% are from Geometry and 15% are from Mensuration.
Descriptive questions are a required to be answered by the candidate in a crisp manner. Speed and accuracy is required.
General Science: Questions on Physics are Class IX level and form 35% of the paper. Similarly in Chemistry 35% of the questions are asked. Whereas Biology 30% of the questions find a place in the examination.
Social Studies: History and current affairs comprise 60% of the paper. Around 40% is Geography and civics.
In Social Studies, questions are related to Fill in the Blanks. Around 40% of Geography and civics . In social Studies, questions related to fill in the blanks and true of false and maximum in number.

English: Grammar forms the bulk of testing material in English. Around 40% of the questions asked are from applied grammar.  About 20 % of the paper tests synonyms and antonyms. Sentence arrangement and comprehension from 40% of the paper.  In English, Grammar is important.  There are two Comprehension passage. A few questions are asked in the form of fill in the blanks.
