SSB Interview-Air Force Selection Board-How 2 crack ? Tips

Congratulations on receiving a call letter to face the Air Force Selection Board.

There are two stages of selection for tech and Ground duties
 for pilots, there would be three stages.

Screening Test- IQ ( Officer Intelligence Rating Test- Picture Perception and description test.
Stage II Main Interview - Psychological Tests, Group Tests, Personal Interview
Stage III Pilot aptitude Test

Your attitude will take you to success.

Attitude is your total personality- How you project it to the assessment officer matters.

Group Tests:- These are acid tests to see how you interact with a group that is selected at random. Here you would not be knowing the individuals in the group.

Personal Interview:- It is a one hour one- one discussion with the interviewing officer.
The questions will revolve around you, your interests, your personal life.Education and social life.

Your attitude is developed over a period of years and does not come about in just a few weeks.

The tests are designed to check 15 Officer-like qualities in you.

Most of us have these qualities- it is how we project them to the assessment officer that matters.

conduct a few tests to find out your present level
Polish your skills so that you can project them in various tests.

Only those candidates who show sincerity in their assigned task have been recommended.

Demonstrated Qualities:

We ask you to choose a book of your choice, read/ reread and Give a BRIEF about it.
Only a few do this. Most of the students avoid this. Those who avoided often end us NR
[Not Recommended]

We ask them to prepare a presentation about the forces for about one hour on the power point. This gives them time to do some research over the internet and enhance their knowledge about the forces.
( A casual attitude and poor presentation- leads to a NR )

CONFIDENCE BUILDING TEST
This is a unique test conducted at our academy. One has to go out meet strangers and talk to them. We have designed a Task, which is a little difficult, many a student have failed in this task and most of such candidates at NR.

Another Test the group is assigned to organise a small event and are given some directions

We wanted to see how a function / a Visit can be organised by the sub-group.
Many have done this well. Those who take initiative often get Recommended.
