Sainik School

There are 24 Sainik Schools in India (2016)

The cadets are made to get up at 0500 am
Get ready and start their
Day at the PT ( Physical Fitness Ground)
at 0600 am
they then exercise for about 1 hour and get ready for a
Nutritious  break-fast.
at 0800 the academic session starts till 1.30
after lunch there would be a short break
own time study till 1600 hours
Games from 1630 till 1800
1830 to 2030 self study
There after Dinner
followed by Night Roll call

The school trains cadets to join the NDA and after training at NDA join the selected academy to become officers in the armed forces
