Eligibility criteria:
  • Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed matriculation from a recognised board and should possess certificate from a Industrial Training Institute in relevant trade.
  • Age limit: The upper age limit of the candidates must not exceed 27 years. However, there will be age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PH (OH/HH), 13 years for PH (OH/HH) and OBC, 15 years for PH (OH/HH) and SC/ST candidates and for others as per Central Government norms.
How to apply: The candidates have to send the application in the prescribed format to the concerned address as given in the notification.
Important dates:
  • Military Engineer Services, Western and Eastern Command: The tentative date of written examination is May 15.
  • Military Engineer Services, Northern Command: The tentative date of written examination is May 8.
