STEPS TO SUCCESS IN SAINIK SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

ABOUT SAINIK SCHOOL EDUCATION
In my opinion the standard in Sainik School training as well as education has detoirated in the years. However, it is still sought after school for many. The reason being affordable fees and Good Extracurricular activities provided at the school. Over the period of time the intake visaviz the applicant the Ratio has gone up to 20 to 25 per vacancy. Hence it has become a competitive exam for children of that age.
With a reasonable amount of coaching it is possible to gain admission in these schoosl. I would put it at 6 months slow and systematic coaching is sufficient
SUBJECTS
There are three subjects in which the aspirants are tested:-
1. Mathematics
2. English / Local Language
3. Intelligence Test
4. Viva
The syllabus is that of CBSE and NCERT pattern.
How does Sainik Academy Offer this coaching?
We carry out screening test for the student. Once the boy is found suitable for training we undertake to train the aspirant for a period of One year
The faculty is handpicked and all are defence service aspirants, hence they are young and energetic
Reasonable facilities are provided in our hostel with home made food
we have started a small library where in the students can read story books and newspaper
We do allow the kids to watch the news channel and also provide some entertainment during the week ends.
To break the monotonous training days we do take them out for short visits and one night out.s This year we have started with one year coaching at our academy
The fees for this training would be around 1.25 L.
The boys would be admitted in a local school however, our coaching will be available to the student for 6 months i.e till he faces the Written examination
Those of you who want to try this out can admit your child for Foundation course starting from April 2016.
