ALL INDIA SAINIK SCHOOLS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

A WRITTEN TEST
A written test will be held on first / second Sunday of January every year.
Details of the test are given below:
CLASS VI:
i.Mathematical Knowledge Test & Language Ability Test2 hr
ii.Intelligence Test1hr
The test can be taken in English,Malayalam or Hindi.
CLASS IX :
i.Mathematics and Science 2 hr
ii.English and Social Studies2 hr
The Question papers for class IX will be in English only.
The syllabus and question pattern given are subject to changes from time to time.
INTERVIEW & MEDICAL TEST
The boys who qualify in the written test will be required to appear at a later date before a Selection Board for an Interview and Medical Test.  Full details regarding qualifying Medical standards will be announced later.
CENTRES OF WRITTEN TEST AND INTERVIEWS
CENTRES OF WRITTEN TEST
i. All Sainik Schools in India.
ii. In Kerala State, Candidates can take the test at any of the following centres provided at least 20 candidates appear from that centre: - KAZHAKOOTAM, KOTTAYAM, ERNAKULAM, KOZHIKODE, WAYANAD, KAVARATHI (LAKSHADWEEP).
INTERVIEW& MEDICAL TEST
The interview and medical test will be held at selected places after announcement
of the results of the written tests.
