IGRUA ENTRANCE EXAM


Indira Gandhi rashtriya udan akademi or IGRUA conducts two entrance exams a year.

The syllabus of exam as per the advertisement is general english,maths,physics ,reasoning and current affairs (10+2 level). This means that the concepts of 10th ,11th,and 12th combined is included in the syllabus.

PATTERN OF THE EXAM-This exam does not follow a particular pattern any thing can be asked,starting this year IGRUA has decided to conduct the exam on computer ie the timer starts as soon as you login and the page closes after exact 2 hours.


WHAT TO STUDY? --this is the most frequently asked question! know i am going to answer this in the best possible way and help all the aspirants

MATHS--

1) " STUDY NCERT 10,11,12" study the basic formulas and " DONT GET TOO DEEP..KEEP IT BASIC" the reason why i wrote that in caps is because seeing the questions asked in the last 2-3 entrance exam's it can be said that studying basic formulae's and typical problems from each chapter will serve the purpose.

2) solve model papers from NDA preparation books--arihant series

PHYSICS,GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

1) Study all the topics of NCERT 10,11,12 again don't go too deep. study just the basic concepts because in the exam only theoretical questions are asked ,no numericals.

2) For gk and current affairs the best thing is to read the news paper and know a bit about the indian aviation and aviation minister,airlines and their CEO's etc


TOUGHNESS LEVEL-

The toughness level  is some what like NDA ( a little less)
