1. Find the % of loss or gain when an item was purchased for Rs.80, a repair of Rs.10 was done and packing charges was Rs.10.  If his Selling price was Rs.7.50 more than CP.

2. Find the number of tiles required to cover the entire floor of 8 m long and 4 m broad, if the measurement of the tile is 16 cm and 8 cm

3. Find the Amount earned on an investment of Rs. 8765 invested for 146 days at 12.5 % SI

4. A cycle tyre has a diameter of 42 cm, if it makes 2000 rotation. How many km will it travel?

5. Find the length of a train in metres, if the train crosses a pole in 12 sec and its speed was 72 km/ hr

6. If A can do a job in 10 days, and B can do the same job in 5 days. How long will they be able to complete a job if they work together on a job that was done by B alone in 40 days?

7.  A boat travels at a speed on 10 km/ hr.  In Still water. If it travels a distance of 10 km against the current on a river and takes    1 hour and 15 min. find the speed of the water current.

8. A shooter can shoot 9 on the target out of 10.  What will be the accuracy in percentage if he shoots at the same rate of 180 targets?

9. A man is Four times the age of his son on the son’s 10th birthday, what will be their ratio of the age during the son’s 15th birth day?

10. Find the cost of covering the floor at Rs.25 per sq.m of the path that runs both horizontal and parallel to a plot of 40 m length and 30 m broad. The width of the path is 2.5 m.
