Best Tips for SSB  and FSB Interviews


Let me start by answering a few Questions 

Due to an increase in number of applicants for the defence forces, the Recruitment directorate has increased the cut-off marks for most of the entry as officers and even for other ranks.

It is become as competitive as any other top  professional college entrance exam.

Since the defence requires a set of qualities, they are very strict in the selection process.

Until  and unless one is well prepared, he / she may not be able to qualify the SSB/ FSB Interviews.

What ever quality you possess should be presented in an acceptable manner.

An early preparation is essential

what is required to be prepared?

start with filling up the personal details:-

a) Schooling- years- Subjects studied- Extra curricular activities that you participated. 
Achievements while at school it is better to start from Class X on wards.

b) Sports and hobby

c) About the members of your family- where they work, their income, their field of work, specialty.

d) Details about your city/ town.

Once a candidate was asked, 
 "Tell you what is the present population of your town, male / female 
Name of the District collector, Police commissioner, corporation Commissioner.
The interesting places that one can visit near your town , the history of the place."

What are the defence units located in / near your city, name  them. Have you ever visited any of these places.


So, 
BE KNOWLEDGEABLE
Collect as much information as possible.

Next comes the importance of Maintaining a scrap book. This you can start from cutting out the news of interest from daily news paper.

DO NOT RELY ON MEMORY   

Make a file and keep adding it till you get Recommended at the SSB / FSB Interview.

You must be well prepared to tackle such questions.

Reading is very important while doing you will increase your vocabulary as well as knowledge

Internet may not be of much help in building vocabulary and its proper use.
