 Residential schools offer admission to children - Class V


Normally the Admission is offered by Residential schools at least 9-6 months in advance to the commencement of the school session. 

These schools admit children from 10 years on wards, for class V.
They do hold a written examination followed by a verbal interview.

The fees for such residential school differs from place to place and there is a brand name established by these schools over years.

Some of the schools which boasts of Quality and education abroad are costly and only well to can afford it. ( Some scholarships are available)

The standard of written exam is that of CBSE Syllabus.

They have questions related to:-

b) English
c) Intelligence Tests
d) General Awareness
e) Science in some schools.

Expectations from the child

Students are expected to be sound in the very basic skill sets expected at his/her age and class in which he is studying. There is nothing more, these public schools seek. 

Capacity to respond to unexpected questions from non defined clear syllabus requires sound knowledge and adequate practice of topics of his present class.

Boys and girls' must be comfortable with their maths and grammar. Slightly above average in numbers and very good language writing skills ( English and Hindi) are must to clear any of the entrance exams listed above. Both English and Hindi must be error free and simple.
