Is it a must to serve in NCC / NSS to get selected in FSB/ SSB Interview?


This  is one of the questions some of the aspirants asked me while conducting a motivational progremme in one of the local colleges.

Answer: NO.

As there are a number of colleges in India, does not offer these facilities, it might not be possible for students to have had an opportunity serve in NCC / NSS.
During the interview, it is how genuine you are in entering the Forces is important.

There may  be a few who have completed their graduation via correspondence course, such candidate would never get a chance to be in NCC. .or NSS. This does not stop a candidate from getting recommended if he is otherwise found fit by the selection board.

At the SSB Interview, make sure to present your best and by all means bring out your interest to join the forces.

How is this interest brought out?

It is brought out via
TAT, WAT, SRT, SD
Your extra curricular activities,
your interest in out door life.

SO if you did not serve in NCC/ NSS do not be worried
