1. Avoid taking chances with question  for which you have no clue
2. Beware of the language of mthe question read and re read and under stand what is required to be answered
3. Check your anwers to be 100 % sure  ( Confidence comes with study and mock tests)
4. Do the questions that you know well first. ( Do practice a lot so that you will gain confidence)
5. Easy one first, ( If you are good at Maths then go ahead do it first.)
6. Focus on the part you know best. 
7. Good speed in maths will give you extra milage.
8. Honest in preparation will lead to success
9. Ignore the questions that you do not know
10. Join DEFENCE ACADEMY FOR SSB and SUCCEED at AFSB

Tips about AFCAT:

  1. Revise, Revise and Revise –Revise whatever you have studied, be it the mathematics formula or general awareness.
  2.  Re-read all the current affairs you prepared. 
  3. Read whatever material you can get via the Net
  4. see http://defence-career.blogspot.in for sample questions
  5. Go through all the Previous Year Question Papers –. This has 2 advantages – you will get to know the pattern and you can practice 
  6. Gain more command over the last section of paper – There is a section which generally comes at the end of the paper – one which involves shapes. .
  7. Read a lot – This will help you in the English section, as this carries maximum weightage and is considered the most deadly among aspirants. There are no specific resources. However, I would recommend reading The Hindu Editorials and Reader’s Digest.
  8. Read all the mathematical formulae – I would recommend you to go through whatever formulae you have prepared. If not, solve all the questions from past year papers and some difficult ones from websites like pagalguy.com
There is one section – General Awareness. This is the most uncertain section aspirants consider.
