Individual Tasks in SSB and General Fear. The Truth about Individual Tasks
Dear Aspirant,
There is a general worry about the Individual tasks and how the scoring is done.
Let me try and clear some of the basic doubts about this particular Test ( GTO Sub Test)
Totally there are 10 tasks
These are:
1. Zig zag walk- -------------------------------------------------------------01 Mark
2. Long jump( 7 feet) ---------------------------------------------------------02 Marks
3.Tyre Jump (getting through a tyre tied onto a pole) --------------------03 Marks
4. Tarzan Swing----------------------------------------------------------------04 Marks
5. 6 Feet Wall-------------------------------------------------------------------05 Marks
6. parallel Rope Walk----------------------------------------------------------06 Marks
7. Fig our eight------------------------------------------------------------------07 Marks
8. Double Jump-----------------------------------------------------------------08 Marks
9. Tiger Leap--------------------------------------------------------------------09 Marks
10. Confidence walk-----------------------------------------------------------10 Marks
( I have just given random marks. These are marked according to the degree of difficulty)
If your count the marks it is 55. The Gto will tell you that with in 3 minutes you should complete this task. If the tasks are completed successfully you will be awarded 55 marks.
In case you are able to repeat these tasks you will be awarded extra marks.
Here is the catch. In order to bring out the best in you the GTO utters these words, so that you give Your best.
Let me tell you the secret.
We (the GTO) expects more from sainik. rimc. rms, ncc students. From civilian candidates who have hardly any exposure we do not expect them to complete all these tasks.
Even if you just do 5, it is, ok, (Because these things can be done by any one after Training)
so do not worry, do your best, tone up yourself before going to ssb interview so that you can perform well.
DO not get unduly worried about these tasks. A healthy indl who keeps himself fit would be able to do all these.
