295th candidate of Defence Academy Coimbatore made it at the ssb this is within 6th year of our beginning in Tamil Nadu


Tamil Nadu means Tamil Country
Perhaps that is why They are called sons of the soil
If they move out of Tamil nad they step into another country.

With great difficulty we get candidates. 
Most of the candidates who come to us are not placed in any company
History of arrears in their college semis.

Scared / shy of talking in English.
Lack of Knowledge of Hindi
They see paper and do not read it.

They do not know the names of any Top brasses of the Armed  forces
They say we just want to give it a try.

When you call them to be present at 10 a.m. most of them come late. blame the delay on traffic.

They say they took up engineering because of their parents pressure.
Will happily settle down in   Tamil nadu and nearest to their home even if the salary is in 4 digits    

With all this and a mental attitude only Fauji's children can make it in SSB. 
we try to make a dent.

Most of our candidates come from neighbouring states.
only about 20 % are from Tamil nadu.

People / peers make comments like
You cant make it
Your skin in dark in colour you will be rejected.
With out knowledge  of Hindi- Forget it.
If you join the Defence You cannot get married.
and many more comments.

yet we get few brave and bold candidates, these are the persons who prove others wrong.
We welcome only those candidates who really want to prove it to others the
