If not NDA Then ???????


A few Lakhs of aspirants appear for the Written Examination of UPSC ( National Defence Academy - Pune)

A few thousand get short-listed to  appear for the SSB ( Services Selection Board Interview )

A few Hundred get Recommended for the Training at NDA

A few Hundred  (LUKCY Ones) join the NDA 

If you had tried  for the NDA written you will know what is Tough

If you have appeared for SSB interview you will know What is Very Tough

If you have missed out in the Merit you will know what is Real bad luck

Now if you still dream of joining the forces
here are a few ways:-

10 +2 technical  Entry -- Army and Navy ( You must score above 80 % in PCM )

If not Join the College that has Senior wing NCC- Do well in the NCC training and get at least a
 " B " Grade in your C certificate exam.
( NO written test in UPSC OTA for such candidates)
Or Try the University Entry Scheme     

AFCAT will lead you to face the Air Force SSB Interview

Good Marks will lead you to face the Indian Navy and Coast Guard Interview ( with out written examination) 

If every thing is lost then try for 
Territorial Army  ( you can become an officer upto the age of 42 years) 

There is yet another way to enter the services as an officer

it is a long journey and tough one

JOIN AS A SOLDIER and then try for 
Army Cadet College ( Dehradun)
